Our school is a wonderful place for your child to begin or continue his or her education. Of course, children are our business, and every staff member realizes the importance of each child. You can read our Mission Statement and Guiding Principles in the School Improvement Plan. However, we try to communicate three big ideas to our students:
• We believe the work students do here is important.
• We believe students have the ability to do the work.
• We will never give up on them.
When the adults in our building make sure the students know how they feel, students begin to gain the confidence necessary to become the life-long learners we want them to be. Hagerstown Elementary is a place where kids are special people.
