     Mr. Brown has been at Hagerstown Jr. Sr. High School since the summer of 2000. He is a 1998 graduate of Ball State University. Mr. Brown is a member of the Indiana Bandmasters' Association, the Indiana Music Educators' Association, Music Educators' National Conference, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia National Professional Music Fraternity.

As a member of the Ball State Bands, he was a five year member and Section Leader of "The Pride of Mid-America" Marching Band, the University Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band, and toured the United States and Europe as a member of the Ball State University Singers and Jazz Lab Ensemble. He previously served as Director of Bands at St. Clair High School, St. Clair, Michigan. He resides in Hagerstown with his wife, Michelle, and stepson, Josh.
